Motion Works Gallery/Maker Space

In the heart of the renowned Provincetown arts scene is a new community space. Located on the 2nd Floor of 330 Commercial Street, Provincetown, MA, Motion Works is part of Provincetown Community Television. It is a gallery and education space primarily focused on display and creation of video artwork.

Motion Works is PTV's in-house gallery dedicated to video art, motion-based works, installations, and new media. We embrace emerging forms of creative expression and encourage artists to explore beyond traditional boundaries.

As one of America's oldest art colonies, Provincetown has a remarkable artistic legacy. We believe that legacy carries a responsibility to support not only the history of the arts, but also the artists shaping its future.

Motion Works showcases experimental work with an emphasis on video, moving images, installation, projection, sound, and interdisciplinary media. Our goal is to provide an open, flexible space where creativity can thrive and visitors can experience innovative work that engages the senses.
