This course will provide the basic principles and practices of lighting for video including:

2. How to utilize both natural and artificial light.
3. Tips and Tricks for easy effects & backgrounds.
Mike Potenza has more than 25 year of broadcast experience at CBS News. As Producer of CBS MoneyWatch, Mike led a crew of 6 technicians to deliver 15 live reports daily from the New York Stock Exchange. Prior to taking over the MoneyWatch in 2009, he helped produce coverage of the last three presidential elections and was an ENG cameraman for New York based correspondents covering national news stories.
Mike is a retired member of the IBEW technical union and an active member of the Writer’s Guild of America. He received his degree in TV Production with a Minor in French Conversation from Emerson College in Boston. He lives in Provincetown and is currently the owner of Seahorse Digital Marketing.
