What is Community Media?Communities should have the power to tell their own stories and public access stations provide communities with tools, education and assistance to tell their own stories through media. Funded in part by subsidies from cable companies and local donations and sponsorships, local access channels are where you can see yourself, your friends, and your neighbors creating and starring in locally made content.
Access centers are champions of free speech and artistic expression. We support the creation of local content that is unimpeded by excessive regulatory control and commercial influence. About PTV:
PTV strives to highlight Provincetown's diverse population,
rich history, strong democratic local government, educational facilities, vibrant arts scene, large tourist population, and growing senior population. PTV works with volunteer video producers to create content, provide video coverage of Provincetown events, support local non-profit and educational organizations, and cable and webcast Provincetown made media.
