ORIENTATION
First Wednesday of every month
Orientation is a mandatory prerequisite for all production classes at PTV. The orientation session is intended to give new members an overview of rules and operating procedures at PTV. New members are encouraged to register for classes during this session.
MINI DV CERTIFICATION
This class will train the student in basic camcorder skills and provide an orientation to the Canon GL-2 MiniDV camera. This session is a minimum requirement for enrollment in Basic Non-linear Video Editing.
BASIC NON-LINEAR EDITING
This series explores basic non-linear editing techniques using Final Cut Express. Students will learn to make edit choices, create titles, edit audio and author their projects to DVD and formats for the web.
