We are thrilled to offer the Provincetown community, both here and beyond, a new way to access PTV produced videos. Our new website offers streaming video of PTV member productions as well as Town Government meetings filmed by PTV staff and volunteers. The videos posted below are just a small sample of the work produced at PTV by members of PTV. New videos will appear as they are produced so if you're interested in all things Provincetown, we encourage you to visit frequently.

Our sincere thanks go out to Tim McCarthy and Michael DuPlessis at Liptv for their technical assistance in setting up PTV blogs for our members AND their incredibly generous donation of server space to house our videos. And because of Lip's generous donation we are able to offer our viewers an extremely fast way to stream video through the Lip server.

We are also grateful to our friends at Lower Cape TV who continue to cablecast our productions regularly on channel 17.

We welcome your input and rely on community participation here at PTV. What we offer is a great little studio where all are invited to learn how to express their point of view through the medium of video. Come to our free orientation at 6pm on the first Wednesday of every month; you'll learn about public access television, what we do and how you too can get involved.
Getting Technical:
Streaming video is a complicated process so please bear with us as we move along. A few things to know: our video, for now, is available in Windows Media Player. Mac users need not fret, here's a great free download, Flip4Mac-- it allows you to view wmv files in Quicktime. All captions on the site serve as links to our videos; we've indicated the length of each video in the corresponding caption. We'd greatly appreciate an email if you come across any streaming snafus.
We have begun the process of negotiating with Comcast for our new Cable License; your input is important for the future of Provincetown's cable television system.
